Deine Aufgaben: This position will require relocation to the United States of America. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Supports Product Manager in all aspects of product related issues including technical and engineering. - Generates revenues by billing engineering / auditing time to TÜV SÜD clients, usually on a project basis, for both engineering/inspection and certification activities. - Consults customers on product codes/directives and standards. - Evaluates pressure equipment designs and reviews design calculations. - Drafts test and inspection plans to certify materials, welds and pressure equipment products. - Coordinates on-site inspection and auditing activities. - Evaluates mechanical test results of materials, inspects materials and conducts shop inspections. - Witnesses welder’s performance tests and welding procedure qualifications, evaluates non-destructive and destructive test results and certifies personnel and procedures. - Certifies materials, parts and components to applicable Directive / specifications. - Participates and conducts code and quality system related audits at client sites. - Conducts final inspection of all kind of pressure equipment including witnessing of hydrostatic pressure test. - Responds certification issues to clients; manages clients through the project phase. - Participates and gives presentation to potential clients. - Sells engineering/inspection and auditing services through marketing, customer education, trade shows, technical committee interfacing, etc. - Generates quotations. - Helps penetrate new markets. Dein Profil: This job may be for you if: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable technical degree; - Minimum 3 years’ experience in materials technology or pressure equipment manufacturing industries; - Minimum 5 years’ experience ASME Boiler and Pressure Code related work, which includes inspection under the provisions of the ASME Code Sections I, III, or VIII supervision of such work prior to the establishment of these qualifications, administration of shop inspection service under the referenced Sections or experience in applicable Code related manufacturing or construction activities; - Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, including testing and inspection (or both) of equivalent manufacturing, construction, or installation activities; with 2 years’ experience associated with nuclear facilities; - Shall have prior experience with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU as well as welding acc. to EN ISO 15614-1 and ISO 9606-1; - Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment; - Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills; Must speak, read, and write English fluently. German a plus; - Comfortable speaking and presenting information to groups, customer presentations, industry forums, quotations, and reports; - Ability to read and understand technical documentation, drawings and diagrams; - Ability to apply and understand advanced concepts of a mechanical nature; - Able to stay focused and professional in a fast paced and stressful environment involving strong personalities and uncompromising demands; - Self-starter with a positive outlook and motivated attitude; - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and complete multiple projects while giving attention to detail and deadlines; - Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
